Vina Sayson is a lawyer and trusted advisor to her clients, with over 18 years of experience helping clients with wills and estates, business law, and real estate matters. In addition to guiding clients through personal matters such as their estate and incapacity planning and the probate and estate administration process, Vina also assists and advises clients with business and real estate transactions, commercial leasing, and real estate development.
In assisting clients with their estate and incapacity planning, Vina listens with empathy and communicates with clarity. She takes the time to understand her client’s concerns and objectives, before working with them to develop and implement plans that meet their needs, achieve their goals, and provide them with peace of mind.
In guiding clients through the probate and estate administration process, Vina balances a practical, problem-solving approach with empathy and understanding. Vina walks alongside her clients, with genuine care and compassion.
As a trusted advisor in business and real estate matters, Vina provides her clients with strategic counsel, practical advice, and pragmatic solutions.
Vina has been a Richmond resident since her family immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in the 1980s. After obtaining her law degree from UBC, she welcomed the opportunity to serve clients in her hometown when she joined PLLR Lawyers in 2005.
Vina has enjoyed serving alongside like-minded volunteers in the non-profit sector, on boards, and through her church involvement. During her tenure as the board chair of the Evergreen Baptist Campus of Care, Vina steered the seniors care facility through their redevelopment and strategic planning process.
She has also enjoyed serving on Habitat for Humanity Global Village builds in Nepal, the Philippines, Jordan, and Kauai.
In her downtime, Vina loves finding good eats, enjoying the great outdoors, and traveling with her family near and far – her favourite destinations so far include the Azores, Peru, and our very own Gulf Islands
