Brian Alcaide worked exclusively in the area of civil litigation for almost 10 years prior to his call to the bar in 2024.  He recently completed his articles at the firm and as a lawyer, has a broad litigation practice, including contract/commercial, wills variation, employment disputes and personal injury.

Brian has represented clients in the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.  He is keen on exploring practical solutions that make sense for each individual client, both in and out of Court.

Brian attended law school at the University of London, gaining his Bachelor of Laws and later obtained his Master of Laws at the University of British Columbia.  Prior to that he spent 8 years living in the Philippines, which has informed his perspective on the unique struggles that new entrants into Canada face.

Brian was raised in the lower mainland of Vancouver after his parents migrated to Canada in the 1980s.  He believes strongly in the power of education and sport, volunteering his time outside of work to school boards and little league teams in the Greater Vancouver area.

He enjoys spending time with his growing family and is also an avid runner and guitar player.
