Gary Hou is a solicitor practicing in the areas of corporate and commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates. He has helped his clients with matters such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, shareholder agreements, corporate structuring, and reorganizations, drafting and reviewing contracts, and real estate development.

Gary’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law and real estate law. He takes a practical approach to solving problems, and he prides himself on providing effective advice and representation. He enjoys the challenges that come with a solicitor practice involving a wide range of legal issues and he enjoys working with his clients to produce timely, creative, and effective results. 

Gary is able to keep his clients happy throughout the life of his professional relationship with them, and he takes pride in the fact that clients often come back to find him if they face further legal issues in the future.  

Gary has spent most of his life living in Richmond, and most of his legal career practicing here. He obtained his law degree from UBC in 2014 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2015. Gary speaks Mandarin in addition to English, and as a result, he is able to serve a wide range of individual and corporate clients. 

Outside of work, Gary is a big sports fan and is always happy to discuss the latest sports news. When not working, he can also be found playing dodgeball, doing puzzles, or playing chess. Due to his inability to cook, he can also be found at many of the excellent restaurants that Richmond has to offer.
